About Survivor Sunday

Survivor Sunday is an invitation for individuals and Christian churches across the nation to join together in prayer for those who have been affected by gun violence in America. These other victims are the loved ones of those killed by senseless gunfire. They are the spouses, children, parents, siblings, friends, companions, neighbors, co-workers and entire communities who have been traumatized by the loss of someone taken away in this agonizing manner.

How to participate in Survivor Sunday

There are many ways to get involved in this year’s Survivor Sunday. Whether you’re considering private prayer or a gathering to pray with friends, your community or your congregation, you will find a variety of possibilities for participating in Survivor Sunday by downloading the Survivor Sunday 2018 Toolkit below.

About Us

As we mourn for our brothers and sisters who have died from gun violence, we pray fervently for their friends and family who grieve. We also accept and declare that it is time to couple our thoughts and prayers with action. We call on our fellow Christian believers, church leaders, and pastors across the country to declare that we will decisively respond to this problem with both prayer and action.
